What kind of anesthesia is used?

During a face lift procedure general or local anesthesia can be used with intravenous sedation.

Do I have to stay in the hospital after my face lift?

Depending upon your doctor and the extent of the surgery, this is an in and outpatient procedure.

How long is the recovery time for a face lift?

Patients are able to go back to work within 10 days to two weeks. There may be swelling, bruising and stiffness for 3 to 4 weeks after the procedure. A patient will see full results after 2 months of their face lift procedure.

How many times will I need to have a face lift?
